Classroom Training and Seminars

Systematic Molding Courses

RJG's Systematic Molding courses focus on processing strategies and how to collect and interpret process data. By minimizing the effects of viscosity variation, process capability increases significantly. The more stable the process, the fewer bad parts are produced.

RJG's Systematic Molding courses are designed for anyone who wants to develop a systematic molding strategy and increase their processing skills. These courses are designed to introduce systematic strategies of injection molding and assumes that participants have an understanding of injection molding fundamentals.

Systematic Molding I

Anyone who wants to develop a systematic molding strategy in their organization should attend Systematic Molding I. This course assumes an understanding of the fundamentals of injection molding. A demonstration lab is included.

  • The 4 Plastic Variables of Injection Molding
  • Economics of Injection Molding
  • Troubleshooting Common Molding Problems
  • The Molding System
  • Process Control from the Plastic's Point of View
  • Mold and Part Design Considerations
  • Introduction to Instrumentation Strategies
  • DECOUPLED II Molding Techniques
  • Introduction to Cavity Pressure Control (DECOUPLED III Molding Techniques)
